Writing Your Own Story:
A Workshop in Creative Nonfiction & Memoir

with author Janisse Ray

Date, Time & Place -- None Planned at this Time

You've been jotting down notes. You've been journaling. You've been walking the beaches of your life, collecting anecdotes and images and metaphors. Now it's time to think about writing with intent and telling your story. This class will cover the basics of personal narrative and memoir. We'll write about real life, our lives, including our ideas and beliefs, and we'll dive deeply into craft. In a time of intense isolation, it is important to human culture, to each other, and to our families that we tell our stories. No experience is needed for this class. Come with a pad of paper or your journal and a pen. The time will fly by and you will leave with a great start to something big.
Cost:
